• AWOL on the Appalachian Trail - David Miller (Best book! If you read any of these, read this one!)
• 2013 Appalachain Trail Guide Book
• Appalachian Trials - Zachary Davis
• Beyond Backpacking - Ray Jardine
• Walking the Appalachian Trail -Larry Luxenberg
• A Walk in the Woods - Bill Bryson (I had some beef with this one, but to each his own. In terms of the movie... the panoramic views was the best and most truthful part)
• Appalachian Trail Backpacker - Frank Logue
• Wild - Cheryl Strayed (This one is about the Pacific Crest Trail, but is similar to our trip)
